Taste Pagosa Brewing's 'Ancestral Ale'

Honoring Colorado's New Chimney Rock National Monument at

Falling Rock Tap House in LODO!

Celebrate Colorado craft beer with a taste of this special ale.

What: In honor of President Obama's and the Colorado Congressional Delegation's landmark designation of the Chimney Rock Archaeological Area in southwestern Colorado as a national monument, the Pagosa Brewing Company & Grill has launched a new limited-edition Ancestral Ale incorporating many of the same ingredients used by the ancestral Pueblo people, who made Chimney Rock their home for more than 1,000 years.

Delicately crafted with local yellow squash, Anasazi beans, sweet corn and a whisper of prickly pear cactus fruit, the Ancestral Ale is a refreshing beer that captures the spirit of this one-of-a-kind archaeological site. Ancestral is one of nineteen special beers that will be served at the CBG CHEERs fundraiser.

Ancestral Ale

In honor of Chimney Rock's National Monument Designation and the countless hours of dedication by the National Forest Service and The Chimney Rock Interpretive Program, Pagosa Brewing & Grill has crafted a special beer, Ancestral Ale.

Delicately crafted with many of the natural foods that these Ancestral Puebloans had available to them.  Our light beer includes:  Local Yellow Squash, Anasazi
Beans, Sweet Corn and a whisper of Prickly Pear Cactus Fruit.  Ancestral Ale is a very refreshing beer with a great balance and captures the spirit of this one-of-a-kind archaeological site.

Cheers!

Tony
